Rekkids an' Punx

I've been back in Utah for a while now, so I'd better change the banner at the top of this blog. Not right now though. L-A-Z-Y. I've been in school so I haven't been writing quite as much as I was last year, but here are a couple of things I've done recently.

Welcome to the Vinyl Cult: Buying a Half Decent Record Player (interview with Randy from Randy's records) from SLUG Magazine.

Star Fucking Hipsters at the Salt City Cellar

Also, Maximum RocknRoll ranked my zine, Music That Doesn't Suck #5 as one of the top 10 zines of the March issue. They said " ‎"Now THIS is a music fanzine! Chock full of fun travel stories (going to see the Mummies), fantastic article on current Latin American punk, article on Human Skab, brief interviews, some reviews and a whole heap of attitude. I always like to read a zine that has its own voice and brings something to the table you can't get from anywhere else. Nate has his own opinions and I dig that. This is well worth picking up if you are into music centered zines." Read MTDS#5 here. Read #6 Here.
